So far, just building characters and storyline. To answer your question, not much, only 38 minutes. It is grittier than the movies, less CG, feels like A New Hope, better light-hearted moments, etc. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I plan on getting Disney+ The price is fair and I got nieces who would love to watch some of those cartoons and shows, heck I even like some of their old cartoons. You get 4 simultaneous logins and 4K on some stuff for the same price...Netflix charges extra for more than 2 sign in and for 4K video. View Quote |

I'm liking it!!!!
ETA - Just finished first episode. I thought it was very good. I liked it a lot! They did a great job with the story. Some minor annoyances with buffering but to be expected I guess on launch morning. |
|
I watched it. Thought it was good.
I need to screenshot some of the images from the credits for a desktop background. |
|
I just watched the opening while I'm waiting to head into physical therapy. So far it looks good.
I can take you in warm or take you in cold LOL |
|
I thought it was an awesome first episode. The story is already better than the new trilogy garbage.

Stupid Disney+ is having login issues so no Mandalorian for me right now I'm sure they will figure it out but when? Disney has been hyping this up for almost a year now.

Oh hell yes. I have been waiting for this shown since preproduction and it does not disappoint what so ever.

I'm liking it so far, love the Mando stuff, the way they laid out his motivations, backstory and code in a few simple scenes.
Has tons of potential. Very impressed, especially after the dumpster fire that was TLJ. |

Just finished the first episode. Absolutely fantastic! Cannot wait for the next one

Saw some of it this morning. This thing is Fire!
Studios should possibly take a cue from it and make smaller, more targeted stories rather than default to 'how epic can I make this?'. Terminator Dark Fate would have benefited from this. |
|
I would have liked it more if Bill Burr would have just shut the fuck up about being in it.
I spent the entire watch looking for his annoying ginger ass instead of actually enjoying it. |

From what I understand this is like a space western - the Mandalorian is modelled after Clint Eastwood's "Man With No Name". He wanders the outer edge of the black trying to stay out of the clutches of the Alli...I mean the Empire...getting into adventures and such.

Finished watching the first episode. Absolutely loved it. Got me excited for the series.
So many *wink* moments or just nods to the original trilogy. Click To View Spoiler The first bounty mentioning "missing Life Day." Which was the entire plot of that cheesy Star Wars Christmas Special. Same deal when that pig looking character mentioned Mandalorians riding Mythosaurs. That was in the Star Wars Christmas Special cartoon segment with Boba Fett. The door answer eyeball like at Jabba's palace The little creature being roasted at the market which was the same species as Jabba's little court jester buddy Salacious B Crumb And of course the ending. There is plenty more I'm missing. |

I have Verizon so apparently I get 1 year of Disney+ free. I logged in and watched the first episode. I thought it was excellent.
I am very interested in watching this series now. Although, I am firm in my dislike for anything Disney now that they've turned anything they purchase into an abomination. I will not pay for the service once my free membership ends. |

Got Disney+ all setup on my TV and am patiently waiting for my 9 year old to get home from school so we can watch it together. In the meantime I did notice they have a ton of shit I used to watch as a kid like Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Ducktails and X-men. So yeah, I've been watching a bunch of X-men until she gets home.

I'm also not afraid to admit I will on occasion watch the new Ducktales , its actually pretty good. |

Saw the rest of the episode and have to say that 1) it was too short and 2) the pacing is a little off.
