NRA Pincus Deposition: Voluntary

UPDATE: Rob has released a second video excerpt of his deposition. In the video below, he explains how he first came across the documents that purportedly were "leaked". It was on Facebook on a page where he didn't even know who managed the page. You can't get any more public domain than that!

Save the Second Has Much More Detailed Account of the Experience.

Save the Second board member, Rob Pincus, was subpoenaed to appear on June 28th, before legal representation of the NRA – both staff lawyers and Brewer and Associate Representatives. Ackerman McQueen were represented by their attorneys via video teleconference. The subpoena was part of the NRA’s case against Ackerman McQueen, and Rob’s subpoena centered on how he came into possession of what The NRA has deemed “leaked” Insider information, before they were made public, regarding several practices by and allegations toward the NRA.

Apparently Rob appeared without council and answered NRA answers. Despite the failure of the NRA attorney to properly serve him. Big Fail on the part of the NRA council.

Apparently because of the failure to properly serve Rob he did not even have to show. He showed up anyway. He could easily have cost the NRA big legal fees by telling them to pound sand and try again on serving the order.

Mr. Pincus is the one that let others know of the existence of the leaked documents that were in The Breaking thread

https://www.ar15.com/forums/general/The-Breakening-NRA-internal-letters-leaked/5-2219519/

he is not the source of the documents, however.

Thanks.  Was wondering if there was something else out there, like an internal NRA review that had been leaked.

Yeah, not smart.

It's virtually certain that Pincus is on WLP's shit list and this deposition was designed in part to try to build ammo to use against him later.

There you go assuming competence and planning. The boss of the firm got caught lying about his disciplinary record with the state bar of Texas to a Virginia judge then tried to lawyer his way out of the mess.
