you can subscribe to SFN and sometimes they'll have a feed to watch.

but I don't think they were covering it this time.

That is interesting. From the website:

"SpaceX’s SmallSat Rideshare Program will provide small satellite operators with regularly scheduled, dedicated Falcon 9 rideshare missions to SSO for ESPA class payloads for as low as $2.25M per mission, which includes up to 150 kg of payload mass.

Unlike traditional rideshare opportunities, these missions will not be dependent on a primary. These missions will be pre-scheduled and will not be held up by delays with co-passengers."

This should increase flights out of Vandenberg. The next one may be over a year away.

Sounds like they'll competitive with if not cheaper than a dedicated small sat launch. Rocket Lab is "less than $5 million" for an Electron launch.

Try to get to that beach where people watch from. I forget what it’s called. Also knights armament is located a few miles away. Dunno if they do tours, but they’re in Titusville.

I wonder if the new guys designing the return recovery (re-usability) first stage rockets will have to go through the same 'teething' curves as SpaceX or Blue Origin or if the learned design technology has disseminated enough that the learning curve for the new guys will be shortened.

The rocket that blew up on the pad a few years ago was an AMOS satellite... They gave them an expendable launch to give the satellite a longer life and quicker path to station as a 'sorry'.
