The Big 5 Sportings Goods stores in the PRK always have either the Mossberg 500 Combo (18.5" plain barrel and 28" vent-rib barrel), or the Mossberg "Security" (aka, plain-jane 590) on sale for $219. Of course, the only shotgun to survive the military trials in the mid-90s was the 590A1... Those will be around $450 or so.

I think i paid around $330 for my Rem 870 with 20" IC barrel and 28" Vent rib. The rifled slug barrel and 26" vent rib barrel package will be extra. I have that same problem of cutting my fingers up while reloading, I'm probably just going to use a file and dremel to get rid of the sharp edges around the magazine tube.

I've used a Remington 870 Wingmaster for many many years for deer, rabbit, turkey, squirrel and have never had any problem at all!! (maybe I'm just lucky!!) I'm totally sold on the Wingmasters and would suggest them to ANYBODY!!!
They are good solid very well made guns!! |

I have no problem with remington shotgun. I think thier quality is great. My brother has a 20 guage youth. It is a really nice shotgun. He is starting to outgrow it. I justWish I would not jam my thumb on the lip thing. Does it have a name.
