GI Brat, do you mind giving any feedback on those scope? I have been drooling over those two for a while. Which one works best for you? Any complaints?, etc. etc.

Any complaints?, etc. etc. Morph, I must admit that I have not taken the M3 to the range, I just got it mounted last Thursday. All work and no play keeps me from the range, I plan to go to the range on Sunday with my boys, I will let you know the outcome. As far as the M1, I love it, the large knobs are great, the clarity is unbelievible, the side focus knob provides an additional adjustment for a clearer picture. The overall differences in the scopes is minor, the M3 comes with three additional elevation knobs for bullet drop compensation. 1 for .308 1 for 5.56 or .223 1 for .300 Win Mag 1 for .30-.06 I hope this helps. Hee-Hee, you figured out the defense. Only one is actually loaded, though. I was going to throw in my hunting rifles and pistols, too, but thought that might be too much. Actually was cleaning out a major powder spill in my safe, and previous posts by others made me take that picture. I don't have a log pile, and I didn't want to have to try and explain strange oily spots on the bed, to my wife, so the stairs were it. I'll have to gun photo class one of these days. The biggest problem was that the bathroom is at the top of those stairs, and I was drinking a lot of iced-tea! [8D] -Troy |
