Just wondering about the parallels. What do you all think?  Are we doomed?

Yes. Maybe I'm just tired though and fatigue is coloring my perceptions. Not many reasons to have a upbeat disposition over the current state of affairs in this country lately. But then I still occasionally think for myself and excercise my free will, so I can't CONFORM to the expected social condition of this age, and don't worry, be happy b.s.

(Man, I always sucked at punctuation, still more literate than most these days...)

And what would some of the parallels be?

The parallels are frightening.  We've already had the Reichstag fire in Oklahoma City.  It's taking a little longer, we're more used to freedom than most of the rest of the world.....
 Add it up: increasingly inept political leadership, rise in interest in the occult, rising taxes, rising inflation, more gun restrictions, demoniazation of ploitical fringe groups, more and more compromizes with the fascists and socialists........  The future looks dark from here.  However, more and more of the 'sheeple' wake up every day.  The powers believe that they cannot succeed if 5% of the population is awake, aware, and ready.  Current extimates of the awake is 4% and climbing.  Pray for our hation, and our liberty.
