I've been looking at Internet TV options and came across VU Stream.  It says it has 600+ channels including premium movie channels for $25/month.  It seems too good to be true, sketchy and possibly illegal.

Anybody have any experience with them?

If not them, what's a good internet tv provider?  I have also been looking at SkyStream TV.

I checked out the webpage, but can't seem to find the actual channel line up anywhere???!!!  600 channels could be a ton of PBS, QVC, and HSN for all I know.

Who is your cable internet provider?

I only pay for internet, but I get basic cable free, and all the local stations are in HD. I also have a Roku, which I use my account login for my cable provider, and I get to watch all of the major networks live, 1080P, and on demand.

Seems to be a lot of these kind of IPtv services. Another here:
https://vaderstream.shop/

None of these seem to work on roku boxes. And from what I can tell, if any do it's worse then navigating media on a Xbox360. If your tv has Google play or you have an android box, will work much better.

Interesting...who creates a webpage with something so basic and essential so hard to find...and then basically puts it in Google Sheets format??? Also they use the words "USA" alot, which leads me to believe this company is not U.S. based.  But dang, they do offer alot of channels for $25.  I'm thinking it is too good to be true for a legit service.  Found this on Reddit:

This one at least has a decent website

https://buygearstv.com/

I would use a prepaid card if you plan to try any of these out. worth a try.

Gear tv with something called "Mayfair" looks interesting

These options are tempting, but I'm skeptical on the legality of these.  They just seem too cheap to be legal.

Has anyone actually used these?

That Mayfair guide does look nice.  One thing I have noticed with these IPTV services is that navigating their on screen guides seem cumbersome and not very intuitive.

I checked out SET TV's free trial a year or two ago. Never subscribed, but I just saw a news story online that they were just rebroadcasting Dish TV's signals and were sued and now owe Dish TV $90,000,000.

If one were going to try one, they might want to use VPN in conjunction with free or low-cost streaming solutions to protect your identity and security.
Your Internet Service provider, government, app developers, and hackers can log your online activity through your visible IP Address and location.

I planned to ditch DTV and go to the streaming DTV Now.  It works, but the UI needs some refinement.  I wish there was a native LG TV app for it but I used my Fire TV.
The fact that they offer (minimal) DVR service now is a plus.

I called and cancelled, ignored the customer retention calls for about a week, then finally answered.
Got to keep my same package for $25 a month, whereas it was going to be over $100 since the credits were running out.
Cancelled DTV Now that same day
I would miss the pausing and rewinding live TV.  "what did he just say?"

Yeah, I'm not interested in doing it if it's illegal.

The VU stream is actually paying for Google search ads.  Seems weird that they would do that if it was illegal.
