Thinking of dumping my cell and going with a sat phone.  Where can I get the best deal? I don't need a lot of air time, data, ect. Just want the coverage.

The iridium system is $1.50 a minute plus a $20 a month subscription and I think that is as good as it gets. I think the phones are down to $600. But if you want to call from outside cell areas it is the way to go. My summer bills are over $300 a month, f'ing ouch.
