Hitlery scares the shit out of me.

I’m convinced that she is positioning herself to step up to the plate when the 9 Dwarves start to really implode after the first primaries.

How ANYONE with more than 2 functioning brain cells can even begin to believe ANYTHING that bitch utters is beyond my comprehension but there are a LOT of people that do.

I know that a lot of you think that her actually running will make GW a shoo-in for reelection but I know how fucking stupid the general population is and we know that women would mindlessly vote for her by the MILLIONS.  Not only that but they would ACTIVELY campaign for her as well.

The thought of “President Hillary Clinton” is one thing that literally drives my mind into a blind panic.

A Sharpton-Clinton ticket would solve many of the Democratic parties problems.  (Many)

The capture of Saddam has blindsided the 9 Dwarves very nicely.  I was just readingKrugman's column from last Sunday, written before the news broke.  he was wailing as usual about how calling the administration incompetent is too kind; that he believes the guys in charge are actively trying to ruin our relationship with our "aliies" France and Germany for good.

He was basically complaining that first we churlishly shut France and Germany out of contracts to rebuild (the nerve!) and thenscoffed at the upcoming trip of James Baker to get the French and Germans to forgive Saddam's odious debts. "Fat chance, you pissed them off.  Good going, Bush" he basically said.

Wrong as usual, Krugman.  Now the French and Germans are falling over themselves to forgive Iraqi debt now that Saddam is in custody.  Gee, I wonder why?

Leftists like to think it was the US that installed, supported, and armed Saddam exlusively.  We were bloody pikers compared to the French, Germans, and Russians especially since much of that help came after sanctions were imposed after 1991.

George Bush is having his cake and eating it too, and the French and Germans are scrambling to be on the right side of history (now that they're forced and have no choice).

God, Bush is so awesome.  Why on earth would we want to get rid of this guy?

There's another thread here, suggesting Condi Rice on the ticket as VP.  She would make an excellent counter to Hillary.  and she had some nice things to say about guns and the 2nd amendment...  she grew up with guns in her family, in the south, and knew of blacks who used them to defend themselves back when things were quite a bit worse for them in the south.  That sounds like a good understanding of the 2nd amendment for me.

Check out what the "Progressive Policy Institute" has on offer for a Democratic national security policy: Progressive Internationalism. The name alone makes my skin crawl, but they're trying to trumpet America's role in the Allied victory in WWII as a Democratic victory, and to somehow conflate that with a strong record on national defense on the part of the Democrats. It would be a sad joke if these socialist one-worlders weren't serious about it.

Ha! Someone should do a policy comparison of Truman with the current Dem crowd just so we can see how far left the Dems have moved in the last 60 years.

Unfortunately almost half of the people in the US haven't figured that one out.

The Democrats are fucked...period!  Dean will grab the peliminaries while Liberman is left cold....again.

Dean is sooooo far left that he will never pull more than 25% of the voters, and those will all be crazy left wingers.  The same crazy wingers that think G.W.B. staged the capture of Saddam.

Bush WILL take 48/50 states next year.

I will put money on it.

I'm curious, when did this whole Liberal/Left name change occur? They now call themselves "Progressive.?" Are they going to officially change to the Progressive Party?

Seems like the old business trick of business where you "go out of business," then reopen the same business with a new name.

What? Now that everyone knows liberal Democrats for the bastion of Socialism they are, they change the name?

Anyway...

IMHO, Hillary won't run till 2008.

She and the rest of the Democrats know this ->

'Til politics do us part: Gender gap widens
By Susan Page, USA TODAY

Lynne and Scott Albert readily agree on family finances, summer vacations and the perfect holiday gifts for their 5-year-old twins - Care Bears for Cammie, a toy monster truck for Josh.

But when it comes to politics, Lynne, an attorney, and Scott, a venture capitalist with an MBA, often disagree about candidates and issues. He's a Republican worried about taxes and government regulations who is "definitely" voting for President Bush (news - web sites) next year. She's a Democrat concerned about policies that affect women and children, and she's shopping for the candidate with the best chance of beating Bush.

The couple from Chapel Hill, N.C., aren't unusual. Highly educated men and women increasingly view the political world in dramatically different ways: Men are mostly Republicans, women are predominantly Democrats. A modest gender gap among Americans who don't have college educations balloons for those with a college degree or more.

The political divide between college-educated men and women has been growing for a decade. And the trend has become more important as the number of women getting undergraduate and postgraduate degrees has surged.

"Highly educated women are a new Democratic base, almost to the same extent as union voters and ethnic voters," says Democratic pollster Geoff Garin. Meanwhile, Republicans have made gains among all blue-collar workers, especially men.

The only person that can beat George W. Bush is George W. Bush. Anything short of GWB in a 3 way on a "Toddlers Gone Wild" video and he is un-beatable.

He has the icing on the cake. Bin Laden is locked in the White House basement afterall.

Are you insane?!?

Do you have ANY idea how truly STUPID most people are? Do you think most people give a damn about this war we are in, a war for our very existence against the savages? NO! All most people give a damn about is buying a new car, getting their raise, and getting themselves fat.

Do you think that vile loathsome demon would play fair, or even a long shot of that? She would run the dirtiest campaign in America history and the sheep would wolf it down and ask for more!

NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR ENEMY!!!

Unless Bush continues to score big, the economy keeps getting better and makes progress in the war - after his re-election - AND the republicans have a damn good person to run in 2008 who will continue the momentum we WILL be bowing to President hitlery. I would bet my ass on it.

I agree; Dick Cheney (if he is still physically fit enough to run) would have a tough time beating Hillary Clinton.

This SHOULD be a great concern to us.

Dean is not really a threat to gun owners any more than Bush; even if he wins (which he probably won’t) he is not an anti-gun ACTIVIST. Sure, he is a pussy for caving in and “supporting” the AWB renewal, but Bush has taken the same position. Neither of them really have strong opinions about RKBA OR “Gun Control” and neither want to be put in a position where they might lose votes.

However, Hillary IS strongly anti-gun and she WILL throw her political weight around to get more restrictive laws passed. A President Hillary Clinton would mean a return to the “Bad Times.” Remember those, in the early Clinton era, when it seemed that we were headed the way of England sooner rather than latter?

Interesting to note: About the only way to GUARANTEE that Hillary Clinton would NOT become president in ’08 would be a Dean win in ’04, as he would be the incumbent then.

I’m not saying to vote one way or the other; I’m just saying that we should keep an eye on the REAL threat looming in ’08.

I'm with the crowd that believes that most people are asleep at the wheel.
I know that a lot of people believe that almost everyone in N.Y. is in it for the handout, but look at reality.
N.Y. is one of the states that have an outflow of money going to the feds. I repeat, the federal government takes away more cash from N.Y. than it puts back in.
Then we have the fairly arge handout crowd to support, so if the money isn't coming from the feds, it comes from the rest of us heavily taxed N.Y.'ers.
Meaning there are a lot of us who presumably can think since we make the money to pay all this,  and have a lot at stake with how the state is run (and takes away our money).
Yet Hillary gets in, and in a state that she probably only vaguely heard about before running as it's Senator.
It doesn't make sense that she could possibly be one of our Senators, yet there she is.
The average person has to be stupid. There is no other explanation.
