CAAN SLAMS OPINIONATED ACTORS

Veteran star JAMES CAAN thinks his fellow actors should stop offering their "self-important opinions".

The ELF actor believes that thespians serve no real purpose to the community, and as such, shouldn't act as if their thoughts count.

He rants. "The truth is, we serve less purpose to the community than the garbage collector.

"Actors have all this self importance, and the minute they have a platform, they think it's time to spout their views.

"Who cares? Who wants their opinions?"

Finally, an actor that knows his place. And a great actor too.

What was that movie where he was a CIA guy or something and this jerkoff shot him in both knees? That was a cool flick.

I liked him in Gardens of Stone too. I like where he beats up the hippy.

[shock] Thank God. The list of movies I could buy was getting really short.

James Caan is a very talented actor. I've been impressed with his performances for as long as I can remember, but I never knew he was in "The Godfather." Of course, it would help if I saw the movie, too.

He played Sonny. I thought he was pretty good in Mickey Blue Eyes. I'm glad he understands how us common every day Joes feel about our entertainers, & what should be done with their opinion. I am personally boycotting music,& movies with those folks who sounded off against the President, by way of protesting the war in Iraq. The'll never see another penny of my money if there is anything I can do to block it.

I was a kid when they filmed the movie "Bryan's Song". It was filmed here in my town at the small college here. My dad was a bartender at the place where the Bears would "break training" at. [beer]

I've always liked James Caan. I've seen quite a few of his movies and I started watching his new TV show "Las Vegas". I enjoy his acting almost as much as the Hot Chicks on that show[:D] http://www.nbc.com/Las_Vegas/

Cool, I thought that was mid-80's, but it's actually 1975. Man, I'm losing it.

And El Dorado with John Wayne. His character couldn't hit squat with a pistol, so Duke hooked him up with a very sawed off shotgun.
