As for the Catholics at the Ohio college, yes, it is Steubenville, and while I respect their... super faith, it amazes me at how out of touch with reality these people are.
You see, the ones I have met, about 5 or 6 of them from up there, they are all very nice people, but my goodness, they're thinking is one that would only work in Heaven. They seem to think all people are really good, and that no harm can come to them.
My g/f lives with her brother who is a Steubenville graduate. He is ALWAYS leaving the door unlocked to their apartment with her sleeping inside, and it's not the best complex. One time I even came to see her and the door was wide open, and he had left hours ago to go to work.
She and her mom get on to him and he's just like, "Oh please... nothing is going to happen. Why would anyone come into the apartment? It's in the back where no one can see it."
Stupid idiotic moron.
I don't mind righteous people, but I do mind those that think they are better than everyone else and clearly express that they think people (like me), are just stupid for owning a gun, or for encouraging the belief of Santa Claus or something like that. I'll respect that they don't wanna do it, but that respect ends when they make it apparent they think I'm out of touch with God for believing the way I do.
He bashes my primarily Protestant beliefs behind my back too, in a very... rude way. Like she says he'll laugh when he's talking about what I "probably" believe. The truth is he's never asked and doesn't even know, but because I was raised Protestant he just assums I believe everything they do.
Stuckup righteous sheep.
