where do i find these?

i've been to every surplus store within 50 miles....nothing. all i have found are your standard metal boxes.

Buy or find someone who has purchased Romanian 8mm from either Aim Surplus or Interordinance in NC.  They come in wooden crates.

Also the Danish 30-06 ammo comes in wood crates......

They are in the system for US ammo..you just have to know someone in the military who works an ASP I guess. I have a couple that I've hauled stuff home from the range in. They really aren't that convenient...kind of shallow and  a bit too bulky for easy carrying.
