A buddy of mine, admittedly not a bright guy, wants to locate a Winchester Trapper Model 94 in .44 Mag.
It is 'supposed to be' engraved/decorative with a silver/chrome/nickel finish (the guy ain't really too sure, I mentioned he is not too bright, right?  )I have searched the web and I have not found a Winchester that meets that criteria. Did they ever make such a beast? Thanks in advance, TRG |

I seem to remember Winchester making a version like this back in the early eighties. I'd have to do some looking in my old catalogs.

Rumor has it that the guns existed but may no longer be in production. I can find a chrome Model 94 on gunbroker, but it is not engraved.
Thanks for helping, Jim_D. ROFLMAO <-- because I jsut remebered that I stumbled over a pistol case with my BP supplies in it and *now* I realized what was in the case. At the time Ithought...what is that doing here? TRG |

Alright if you go to the link and click on the Model for 44 Mag. and then click on Buy It then locater they show the rifle in nickel or maybe it's stainless. Sorry, for some reason there's no url at the top of the page when I get there. |

Like that, for the model, but it is supposed to be a hard chrome finish, maybe nickel, with engravings. Not sure if it was a commemorative or a production option. TRG |

I called my uncle. He's a Winchester junkie. He said they made a saddel ring carbine Trapper 100 Year Aniversery model back in 1994. He thinks it may have been in .357 Mag. though.
He's got a book someplace he'll try to dig out. How big a hurry are you in for answer? |
