Lands to our south are getting squirrelly. It's hard to say why. Venezuelans are spilling into to Columbia, mostly. Guatemala looks like it could return to full on civil war within a year. Nicaragua could go any day. Mexico is a mess that can't do anything about a massive inflow of people. It's tough to say where it's heading, but there's a lot more instability than usual down there.

Caught something under #venezuela that said the Russians are still backing Maduro as the leader of Venezuela and will use any means necessary to ensure he remains in power.
Sounds like fake news and I can't find it again but.... Also tons of upper middle class socialist twats on twitter talking about how this is a US backed coup while at the same time saying that Maduro's rule wasn't "true socialism". Yup, there they go again. |
