He's been a thorn in the side of Chavez and Maduro but his Popular Will party is called a "centrist Christian socialist" party and they espouse "progressive democratic ideals". He was actually arrested (but was quickly released) by Maduro and was hit in the neck by a rubber bullet that left a scar. |
