That's unusual for Virginia. Not very bad, but enough to shake the house up real good. I thought I was imagining it until I went outside and saw everyone else in the complex standing out there too. Lady next door used to live in SF and said it was around a 5. Any other VA folks feel it?

Didn't feel anything in the Dulles area. Wife noticed it a little south of Herndon.

It hit us here too. I just thought it was the neighbors stereo. Actually I didn't feel it. They just announced it on the radio. 4.5 on the old Richter scale. Pretty good for this part of the country. Now if we can just get a good enough one on the Left coast....Just kidding, there are people there I care about. Not many, but enough to wish them safety.

Snow and Hurricanes and earthquakes, aren't you lucky? I think I'll just stick with earthquakes. In b4 the clone lock

Pretty wild - the epicenter was only a few miles from my house. The kids still think there's a monster in their room and won't go in there! (that's where they were when it hit) And we thought Powhatan County Virginia was going to be a boring place to live.... Black Fox

I though that Quantico might have been test firing a big gun.

Nah, if they test fired the MOAB, I'd be dead.
