Parks claimed that OutKast violated her publicity and trademark rights and defamed her.

Why is it I get the feeling that Martin Luther King would today have his own talk show, and Malcolm X would be married to a white woman and doing cameo roles in Spike Lee films?

Th revolution will be televised. There's money to be made here. Just go back and watch the movie "Network" from 1976....the minority revolutionaries in it were already squabbling about ratings and market shares.

“Network” was prophetic in many ways. Go back and look at it now. MANY things in that film that were laughed at, at that time, as being completely ridiculous, “THAT will NEVER happen in a million years” stuff, A great deal of it has already happened and is either passé or accepted as “just the way things are” now. Anyone that HASN’T seen “Network” do yourself a favor and get a copy.

Doesn't Rosa Parks have other things to do than sue other black people, like maybe sitting in the front of a bus and taking a ride to Realityville? It's just a song, and everyone liked it. Her name was used for the title of a nonderogatory-to-her track, big deal.
