Grew up listening to the tales about the Jersey Devil, a very popular tale in southern NJ.

One guy who lived in the woods swore he shot it one night.  He heard his dog barking one night and then all of a sudden it yiped and ran.  So he went out there with rifle in hand to see what was up.  Said it was pretty far out from the porch, just beyond the light.  Of course he shot at it and it had a high pitch scream and left a set of hoofprints (two hooves only, natch) in the trail.

When I was younger I went to the summer camp that the YMCA ran.  There was an old run down cabin in the woods and they made up a tale about Old Man Potter.  On sleepover nights they would take groups of us out there and try to scare the hell out of us.

It's a "mockumentary" about four guys going into the pine barrens to make a TV show about the JD - only one comes out alive.  Lots of hypothesis on who/what the jersey devil really is.

One kick-ass movie worthy of a rental!

I saw em' on NHL Center Ice the other night, they'll be in Nashville to play the Predlies on Jan.3rd, I'm going to try to get a ticket and see them in person. Should be a killer game. Scott Stevens can put one mean hit on ya' if you don't keep your head up coming over the blue line. HOCKEY RULES!!!!!!
