Nope.  Unless we get a constitutional amendment stipulating the vice president or the next male in the chain of command will be commander and chief when she is on the rag.

There are no qualified females availible and damn few qualified males, none of which are running for the office.  By qualified I mean anti AWB, conservative, defense oriented and not allied with special interest groups.  One more thing, the must have some amount of integrity.

No

There are no qualified women and never will be.

Besides, where are you going to find a woman that will admit she is at least 35 years old?

Although men are definately intended to hold leadership positions, you don't work your way up in politics without showing leadership ability. So if a woman can demonstrate the political savvy enough to be a serious contender for the POTUS, then she is clearly qualified and fit to rule.

I also think (and hope) that if a woman is ever elected, she would be wise enough to know her limitations and work her way around them.

Woman are generally democrats when it comes to politics.

Reason being,  they get the "touchy feely" tree hugger vote.

There are far more liberal woman politicians than conservative woman politicians.

So a lot of times the woman is not really qualified at all,  they just get elected because they are a woman,  that's it.

Me too, problem is she's disqualified by being a woman.

If we are a Christian nation, or a nation founded on Christian principles, then technically we shouldn't let it happen. The Bible clearly calls for female submission, and electing a woman president is doing the exact opposite.

Sure, why not? [:D]

Sure. If I agreed with her platform more than the other candidates’ and she was qualified.

That being said, most women do NOT agree with my political beliefs (well … most men don’t either, but they are mostly “metrosexuals” anyway [:P]), so it seems unlikely that I will end up in a situation where I would vote for a woman.

Chain of Command..........

Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert would be next in line after Cheney.

No.
He may be next in line, but the president could and would select a replacement.
Only in the most dire of circumstances, would the Speaker "automatically" jump in.  And why?
There's no urgency.
"Has to step down..." indicates that there would be time to select.

That would be correct. Can't blame them entirely though. A segment of the "men" in this country have allowed themselves to be used by women's organizations and been instrumental in removing men from the home. Albeit while paying through the nose to support them all.

Who really is to blame???????
We are our own worst enemy.

FWIW, I wouldn't even work for a woman. Our department recently chose a new director. One of 2 applicants was a screwed up woman. If she had gotten the position I'd be posting today about how I gave my notice.

The bible also calls for putting to death unruly children, stoning of adulterers & whatnot.  I seriously doubt I'd ever vote for a woman Presidential candidate unless she met all my standards or the opponent was some total douchebag like Schumer but my reluctance has nothing to do with a book of Jewish fairytales [:K]

I laugh at the fools that would rather elect Al Gore just because he is a male.  Have fun in prison after he outlaws your guns and locks you up for ever owning one.

Back up a minute before you call people fools.

The original question was NOT regarding platform,  it was regarding sex only.

Therefore a better analogy would be:

Bush/Cheney

VS.

Rice/Cheney

Conservatives versus conservatives as I think it is a given no one here would vote for a demorat anyway.

No one ever said that the alternative to woman for President is a liberal for President.

I vote conservative first!  There is little chance that any woman running would be more conservative than the best man.

Only problem is that he can't win even among Libertarians!

The reality of it is this:

1) None of us here would ever vote for a Liberal Democrat for president.  And the way things have trended these days, the only Democrats that ever get nominated -are Liberal Democrats. So...

2) AND, the political reality of gender politics makes it clear that the only woman who could be elected President, will be a Republican woman. (This is also true of there ever being a Black President)

3) Conclusion:

If you are given the choice of voting for a woman for President, it will be a Republican Woman.
Her opponent will be a Liberal Democrat, and most likely a man (or a Hillary!).

So make your choice.
