Let's say that GW pulls it off and wins in '04 (as I suspect he will, hopefully by a landslide). Who might be the next guy to step up to bat? Cheney's not very healthy and has some baggage, so I don't see him as somebody who's viable (personally I like the guy, but he'd get shelled). Maybe Bill Frist? What about Jeb?

Somebody good will have to step up as they will likely face Hillary. Who's it gonna be lads?

I vote Jeb.

Jeb? Not bloody likely. My bet, Condi Rice or Colin Powell

Condoleezza Rice I'd like to see her run. 1. She's qualifed 2. It would make a lot of liberals have instant aneurysms. They scream about promoting women and blacks. Here's a fully qualifed black woman running for POTUS, why don't you support her? [}:D] [X]

How about Rudy Guilliano? Rudy versus Hillary for Prez in 08!
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 11:18:11 AM EDT
Condi Rice would seriously kick ass! Wow, the liberal left's heads would explode!

Condi Rice- with Colin Powell as vice president. Watch the Democrats come apart.

I would donate heavily to Condi's run, but I could not support Powell's being on the ticket. I don't think we would have to worry aobut that though, they will need a VP candidate that the south could vote for.

Holding constant that Hitlary will run in '08 Guliani is the only one who can beat her. He's a bit of a neo-con, but sometimes we have to take what we can get. I'd personally like to see Guliani as VP with Bush on the '04 ballot.

I would say Condi Rice and Don Rumsfeld except that they reportedly have a intense dislike for each other.

If you like freedom, Rudy Guliani sucks big time. Jeb might run in '12.

I think they have squeezed as much prestige as they can from Giuliani, the farther we get from 9-11-01 the less his star shines. The recurring bouts of cancer don't help either.

Hawks and doves usually do. They don't have to like each other to be effective.

Ronald Reagan and Bush Sr. didn't like each other for a long time. Funny, they warmed up quite a bit around '86-'87.

Only problem, Franks is a Democrat.

None of those people do anything for me. I'm voting 3rd party next time around. The Republicans are now Democrats & the Democrats are Socialists. No thanks!

Bill Owen is the best candidate for conservatives but the current admin needs to get him more front and center now. You can bank on Chaney not finishing out second term and look for Tom Ridge to step in as VP or sec of state, bank on that.

The right and process of voting will have been suspended by then, for the security of the homeland.
