I am considering doing some magazines and some parts with Gun Kote.  It apparently works better when applied with an airbrush, so...
How much do they cost new, where's the best place to get them?  Are there cheap ones that work well but aren't as durable (I won't be using it that much) or are they cheap because they don't work as well from the get go?  What should I look for if buying a used one?

I'll second the Badger as a good entry-level airbrush. I've had a few Badgers, a couple Pasche's, and some no-name airbrushes, and always returned to the Badgers for ease of use and reliability.
