Anybody?
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:07:24 AM EDT
i didn't. i stuck around on the chat to hear Die-Tryin and Ops discuss pantyhose and other pertinent subjects.[:D]
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:07:25 AM EDT
I didnt, no time to do so
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:12:03 AM EDT
Me. glanced at some of the threads, and it looked like a forum restricted only to ARFCOM rejects. Not my kind of place.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:34:27 AM EDT
I've never registered over there. Full-Auto is enough of a no-holds-barred WWF match for me.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:53:06 AM EDT
i did and was pleasently surprised. A lot like full auto, but with a little more class. mike

For me, it's arfcom or nothin'. Why would anyone drink Miller when they've tried Leinenkugel?
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:20:11 AM EDT
I did not! I heard through the grapevine though that they were bragging about never going down and then they too were down for a spell. mostly mods and trolls there anyways
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:22:09 AM EDT
I went originally, but in the first two posts I read, some assclown was calling everyone in the world a keyboard commando and daring them to come to visit him. I guess I've been out of Junior High too long. It didn't appeal to me.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:23:11 AM EDT
I became concerned that I'd be labeled a "Neo-Con" so I left forthwith. Lots of the main characters over there seem to have their tin foil on too tight. I didn't like it.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:24:50 AM EDT
I'm pretty sure I didn't go over to pre-ban. Not certain though. 5sub
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:35:22 AM EDT
Most here --------- go there. Most there ----------come here. If your somekind of elitist and don't want to visit the other board fine, somehow I do feel they will not miss you.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:37:21 AM EDT
Im not sure but I think most other gun forums hate ARFCOM, and talk about it a lot. Like they have a complex or something.

So pre-ban.com is "the other board" as far as AR15.com goes, huh? Now who's the elitist? As far as not being missed, that is a two-way street. Those who post there and not here do so for a reason.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:45:08 AM EDT
I went to Full-Auto for the BOTD stuff but that's it. I'm an arfcom guy. Although I DID notice some moderator over there hijacked my avatar concept. Only room for ONE Kilgore in this industry goddammit! lol oh wait, I almost forgot I don't give a shit. I'm glad to be back on arfcom though...didn't realize how addicted I was/am. [beer]
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:45:15 AM EDT
I went,I kind of liked it,I will go back from time to time,But this is HOME!! Hello everyone NHSPORT
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:46:07 AM EDT
I went over there and posted. It was like when you were a kid and you had to go over to an aunts house, and the house smelled wierd. Not bad really, but the trolls were enough to make me log off several times. Some threads were just crawling with off the wall toll comments. So many that you would forget what the original post was. It's not a bad place. I'll visit there again. It's just no ARFCOM.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:46:18 AM EDT
There really isn't any difference between the two. ARFCOM has its rude assclowns and PRE-BAN has its rude assclowns. I was only on here for a few hours before it went down (a week ago?)and I found out about Pre-Ban the next day. I like that Pre-Ban has a "Time out" room for those who insist on posting garbage. While there I noticed Storm88Front, Nick, and Star Phucker seemed to spend a lot of time in both the Assclown and Ring forums. I have not been here long enough to validate the accusations by others in Pre-Ban about how the ARFCOM mods in here are "out of control". Anyway, the short time I've been here I have found it to be a nice place.

I drank beer - lots and lots of beer....everyday since 11/29/03. So, I don't know where I was.

One of the more interesting aspects of the Net is the bizarre personas people assume. Psychologists could have maximum wood here (the net)...! And oh yeah, busted again... http://www.the-coalition.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7897&st=60

Never heard of the place[:D]

Nope - Mostly shootersville, and FAL files... - georgestrings
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 1:22:03 PM EDT
I checked out Full-Auto, glocktalk said that my IP was banned. I don't know what that is all about.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 1:29:02 PM EDT
I visited PreBan and then it went down, then went over to Full-auto and registered. Folks there seem a little more excitable than on this site. There was a very long tread that was initiated by a certain former AR15.com member that had something to do with current AR15.com members trying to burn down his house... a real flame fest.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 2:05:55 PM EDT
Yeah, I went. I admit it. Once all the smoke cleared and the entire experience was viewed as a whole, I have to say that I enjoyed it to a degree. I prefer it here, this is home. IMHO, there is more weapons/product related info here, more current world/national/regional events info there. The general dicussion forum seemed OK over there as long as you avoided the dominant assclown/coalition/neocon BS. Most of the folks seem pretty decent, but that may have been because most of the ones with something WORTH contributing were actually ARFcom members. Oh yeah, I got shot (kinda) in the ass during the ARFcom outage. (NOT kidding) Actually, it is more like shrapnel than shot. Don't ask! Missed the twins by an inch. Nothing too serious that I won't recover from, but man, do I feel like Forrest Gump right now. Got an ass full of gauze that has to be pulled out and repacked 2-3 times a day (now I have an inkling of what childbirth must be like!) Hurts like HELL! [pissed] What did you do with your downtime?
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 4:32:53 PM EDT
Went to Full auto that was enough Just had to wait for ARFCOM fix
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 5:07:28 PM EDT
I should have went to pre-ban. I spent alot of time at F/A.com. That site sucks.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 5:35:08 PM EDT
I didn't. I just waited for ol' slowpoke to come back up.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 6:41:03 PM EDT
I went there, and now I have a headache.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 6:42:15 PM EDT
Oh crap! I was saving my evil post to start an evil topic...
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 6:49:04 PM EDT
i spent all of my time on Brian Enos' sight building up my post # there. glad to see that the site is back
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:10:30 PM EDT
Nope - Didn't visit any Gun related sites, used it as a forced withdrawl test.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:15:38 PM EDT

Pretty much the same here. I browse gunboards.com & a few other c&r gun sites but can't really get into pre-ban or full-auto....just not the same as arfcom.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 7:38:15 PM EDT
What happened to the link? I tried AR15.com and was going to go but the link was gone. I couldn't remember where it said to go.
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:39:05 PM EDT
I hung around assaultweb and battlerifles.com. Did some cleaning, laundry, dishes. things I normally dont do while ARFCOM is up
Link Posted: 12/7/2003 8:46:27 PM EDT
I thought about it, but decided I should actually get work done instead. Besides, I know arfcom isn't perfect, but preban seems to have more than its share of assclowns. Maybe its just people here with alternate personalities perhaps? [:D]
