I've been seeing the MAG 7M1 shotguns advertised by S.O.G. for some time now. They are a magazine fed pump in which the mag fits into the pistol grip.  They look like they'd be fun to own but the question it, where can you get ammo for them.  They're suppose to take a 60mm(2 1/3") 12 Ga. shell but all I can find is the Aguila "mini shell" that's 1 3/4"(not sure how many mm that is). Common sence says that the shorter shell should work but does anyone have any hands on with one of these guns?   If the mini shells will work I may look into picking one up.  It would really be a conversation starter plus it'd make one heck of a good home defence shotgun.

I can tell you as a person that had one do not buy that gun. It has a crummy action , the 60mm shells are next to impossible to find, the factory wood stock is at a realy uncomfortable angle , the sights suck , you can use the aguila shells but you can only load 3 into the magazine or the pop out because there to short . Even with the aguilas you have to pump the slide realy realy fast to make it feed halfway decent.

I had a ar15 telestock, and a scope rail added on mine . It looked cool but its not good for much else besides that "whats that " factor at the range. Besides all that the safety is hard as hell to reach with the hand you pull the trigger with.
