Is that some kind of home-made contraption?

They were making something like that a while back called a crossfire or some shit.  I don't remember it looking like that though.

This is a real weapon. I forget the name of the mfg. I don't know if they're still in business.

You can probably find it in last years gun digest.

Looks like it uses AR mags.

It’s called the I-want-to-take-two-great-weapons-platforms-and-make-one-wholly-impractical-gun.

Clearly a post-ban version to boot.

That is what it is.

Hhave handled one that was a special order at the shop. It was a hunk of crap. Pump action shotgun as well as rifle. There is a little selector deal that switched you between the two.

IMHO, POS.

CrossFire...Another good concept, bad idea.

I have seen a couple at the shops and in fact one of the shops I went to the guy wasn'y interested in selling me "his" as he took a fancy to it.

You load the shotgun shells through the butt of the rifle, er shotgun, er whatever the hell it should be called..."Long gun" how's that? And yes it takes standard AR mags for the 223 end.

But most of the guys I spoke with said they weren't even near reliable.

Just my .02

My favorite gun shop has two of them and he's had them for a very long time. They run around $700.
