Have a 16in light weight barrel with a brake that blows air in my face. This causes me to blink when I shoot. Not what you want during a practical rifle match.
Who makes a good brake that works and is not so loud.
Thanks for any info

Now that I have a fluted upper without a brake I don't even notice a difference in recoil. I do notice a drop in db's and it's that much more quicker to point without that extra weight hanging out on the very end. 1 vote for no brake. Edited to say: I had bushmasters Mini-Y then went to KKF's A2 brake, good brake btw, the bushy's sucked. But I'm relaly liking my new upper without one.

I have tried the Smith, Bushmaster AK74, WilsonnCombat and KKF blast enhancers. The Wilson and KKF blast enhancers look the best and enhance the muxzzle blast less than the others. By this time next year you should be able to remove that blast enhancer and replace it with a compensator, flash supressor, flash hider, or other muzzle devise of your choice.
