Does anybody else in here collect these? I've been spending alot of money on these damn things and now I'm addicted. They are 1/6 scale army figures like the original G.I. joes, but with more detail.

No but I've seen them and they are pretty realistic.

I bet a kid will get suspended bringing one of those small scale, plastic, realistic looking toy weapons to school(damm- too many adjectives).

They make an SAS soldier right?

No but if I can get the little uniforms to fit I wouldn't mind making a limited edition line of "GI Squirrel" where I have a bunch of squirrel pelts done up real nice by a taxidermist and positioned so that the little uniforms would fit perfectly and they could have little M16s and various other gear.

It could be pretty specialized, use a Flying Squirrel with a fitted uniform that has a 101st Airborne patch on it's shoulder(airborne flying squirrel).   Use an all black fox squirrel dressed entirely in black fatigues and high speed gear and he's be BATF Squirrel or SWAT NINJA Squirrel.   Use a brown ground squirrel dressed in 3 or 6 color desert camo with it's sleeves rolled up and you've got a Marine squirrel.

Just invision a squirrel's face under that helmet and a little bush tail sticking out of the back end and you'll get a picture of what I'm thinking of.

I was into collecting and selling some of that vintage GI Joe stuff and let me tell you, some of that crap is VERY expensive.  Its almost funny to think that some fool would be willing to pay $300 for a little toy radio set.  I once sold a GI Joe helmet for $65 on e-bay.  Once, I gave a guy a little wire spool, and because it was made in Japan, the guy almost wet his pants with delight (I took several steps back). I used a lot of that $$ to pay for ammo.  Personally I prefer the Dragon series of figures.  I think they are the best made, unfortunately they come from Hong Kong.
