Kind of ironic that the President who lets everyone ask questions is having judges say he has no rule over who can be there to ask.
|
|
Are there rules setup on who in the press pool gets to ask questions and when? The press conferences I've watched kinda look like whoever is taking questions just calls on reporters at random....if that's the case, why don't they let him back in but just never call on him for a question. Effectively making it worthless for him to be there....if he starts yelling out questions, kick him out.

Give him his fucking pass and then sit his ass in the very last back row behind a pillar.

For all you people saying just ignore him, have you even watched one of these press conferences lately? These fuckin journalist shit stains don't even care any more about decorum. They think it's their right to be heard no matter what, called on or not. They will disrupt until Trump gives in or walks away. The days of orderly press conferences, at least the Q/A part, are long gone.

I don't disagree with your overall point - but the concept of "due process" isn't only limited to criminal law violations. Lol. The judge keeps using that phrase "Due Process." I don't think it means what he thinks it means. Is Trump trying Acosta in a court of law where there are criminal penalties? No. They revoked a PRIVILEGE. Due Process does not apply. He and CNN will believe they are martyrs when really all they did was give Trump a clean path toward permanently banning him from the White House Press Corps. |

Trump needs to say so and take it to the Supreme Court if necessary. |

The solution is simple:
Institute a code of conduct for press briefings. Make it a condition of attending that you sign said code. Violating the code, which you agree to, is grounds for losing your credentials, period. Include stuff about not touching staff members, not shouting over other reporters, and not interrupting the Speaker. make it apply to everyone and every news agency. Now there is due process. break the rules and you are gone. |
