Just wondering. Last nite I watched UFC-45. That stuff looks pretty rough to me
 Apparently anything goes except kicking someone when they are down (punching and elbows OK though) and no eye gouging? |

{cough}Kazaa{cough}  Lots of good stuff there. Love the clips of Royce Gracie getting literally bitchslapped by Sakuraba for 8 rounds in Japan then quitting on his stool.

I went to the Randy Couture/ Tito Ortiz fight here in Vegas a few months ago.
It's pretty cool shit. I have trained with Frank Mir and his instructor Ricardo Pirez at The Las Vegas Combat Club. |

The first time I rented a UFC fight card on cable, I watched some martial arts "master" (an Army Sgt from Bragg) giving demonstrations like the one above. He talked about the new style of fighting he created called "Slash," and how ferocious he was going to be in the ring. He got himself knocked out 2 seconds into the fight with a knee to the face from former college wrestler Mark Kerr.

Watched it last nite.
Matt Hughes is a bad mother fucker in the welter weight class. I never miss a UFC or PRIDE fight. |

im with you on that!
i never miss a pay per view fight it's especially nice on new years eve when they usaully run 5-6 hrs of all the fights. it's not a interestiong as it was in its' inception when their were no weight classes and you didnt have to wear gloves and could also strike your opponent when he was on the ground! still it's the greatest test of one on one competion between two people |

I don't understand this clip. What's he doing? Pressure point exploitation? And what's with that posing session at the end? Why's he folding him up and slapping his neck? The only other pressure point Ive seen put someone down that fast is right at the base of the nose...... |

Sometimes i will order UFC but to me it sucks compared to Pride. UFC has a few good fighters but the rest are tomato cans. Plus their HW champion Sylvia just got busted for steroids. Sakuraba is supposed to be doing some fights in the UFC soon i think he can dominate anyone in his weight class in the UFC with the exception of hughes. I would love to see Tito Ortiz fight Mirko Crocop or Fedor from Pride. They would murder him in my opinion.
