Just went outside to get my truck ready for some travelling tomorrow and got bit all over my foot and ankle. Have had some flooding here in Houston recently and there seems to be a few extra ant hills around.

I just poured some Amdro on them and some other powdered chemical stuff. These seem to be red ants from what little I know.

Any surefire recipes on getting rid of these fukkers.

Dont put the Amdro directly on the hole like it says in the directions. I dont know why but it works great when you put it around the hole.

DON'T combine amdro with other powders. The powders kill on contact and the workers die before they can bring the bait down to the queen. Amdro works great all by itself. In two days, the mound will be gone.
I am a former Houston resident and know of what I speak.
