Someone already mentioned 5-O.

I loved those haunting Ry Cooder slide guitar tracks on the late 80's Molson commercials.

The opening sequence and theme to BATMAN BEYOND is kick ass. The best cartoon left on regular TV.

For real TV shows, my vote has to be for that CBS show about vietnam with the Rolling Stones song "Paint it Black".

Man guys, what about Starsky and Hutch? That had to have some of the coolest 70s wakawaka guitar music and more action in the opening sequence than in most of the show.

My second would Magnum PI. I still stop what I'm doing if I hear that music come on.

"I might jump from a tall building; I might roll a brand new car.  'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman who made Redford such a star...."

Hehe.  How could we forget that one?  Gotta love it.  Anybody ever notice that the shot of Colt supposedly grabbing the overhanging signal rail from the top of a train was footage from Silver Streak (Richard Pryor & Gene Wilder comedy)?

Also second Dukes of Hazzard and Magnum P.I.  Kick a$$.

Richard Dean Anderson is totally 100% anti-gun.  The show's producers was sued once by the parents of a teenager who hurt himself because of show inspired stunt.
