Just happened about 11:50 AM local time.

Convinently coming the morning after a 60 Minutes "expose" about 15,000 unsecured chemical storage and manufacturing sites around the country that could be targeted by terrorists.

Evacuations two blocks in any direction.

Tank car in rail yard that was being filled somehow spilled.

Yeah, I saw that too. Reminds me a bit about our local paper 13 years ago when it was a lot more liberal. During the Gulf War, it ran articles with maps and diagrams showing the most vulnerable sections of the Alaska Pipeline to terrorist attack. Another article in the same issue gave step-by-step instructions on how to make crack cocaine. It generated a lot of funny reader responses like "Damn, if I want to be a terrorist or a crack dealer, all I have to do is read the Daily News to get my start!"

Corzine, the D-NJ senator who sponsored that bill, attempted to justify banning .50 bmg weapons because terrorists might shoot up chemical plants and tanks with them.
