How many contested states have mandatory voter ID? How many states will have 125% registered voter turn out?

A lot of you guys are being way too overconfident. If we act like that so will others and most Americans aren't as motivated to vote as Arfcommers. The left is fueled by a rabid hatred of Trump (and us) and they WILL show up in record or near record numbers.
Don't get complacent. |

Recent polling was showing the gap was closing and democrats have a 3% lead, which is nothing like the typical flipping of congress.
Trump needs a working congress |

Quoted: You're correct. But expecting an off year state election to have a Presidential year level of turnout is just sillinesss. Anyone that follows politics will tell you that. View Quote I have gone to great lengths to avoid predicting what will happen in the upcoming elections for many reasons. Probably because my magic 8 ball realizes that while past election cycles may give us a glimpse into this upcoming election, it doesn't tell us what will happen. |

Maybe the republicans will stop fielding crap options. Maybe we will get republicans who do what they were elected for ? 2 years in and republicans in congress and the senate have failed the voters.

I would rather them not doing anything than let the leftists take back over and run the economy off a cliff.

The best way to make sure this doesn’t happen is to make sure you vote and get other like minded folks to vote as well. If we lose congress all of our rights, not just guns, will be under attack. I don’t want to live in a place like Europe.

Sounds like they are preparing to commit election fraud on an unprecedented scale and are putting out fake poll results and false narratives to make their cheating look legitimate.

We need to spread this around and make it known to dems so they dont need to go out and vote. They already have it in the bag View Quote My US rep is Republican and ran unopposed on the primary, no dem on the primary for the district. |

The numbers I saw for MI did have the Dems getting about 140,000 more votes than the Rs in the Governor primary race. I'm staying motivated and will be campaigning for Schuette. We have John James going up against Stabmenow so I am remaining hopeful.

there will be 500% turnout |

In this thread we see Arfcom ignoring how pissed off and motivated the Democrats are while Republicans are in still in a "We President Now" circle jerk and laughing because they think Republicans have it in the bag and really don't even need to show up to vote because the polls are always wrong. The Democrats are very pissed and motivated. The DNC made key plays earlier this year to position specific candidates in key races to capitalize on the number of seats they win. Historically the party in power looses 30 House seats in the first mid-term election after a Presidential party change. In addition to putting key candidates in place the Democrats have been perfecting their social media game and have those resources already in place. Remember a few months back when the site was flooded with disruptor accounts? Those were just the fringe accounts designed to push the limits and monitor the response. Even if the polls showed Republicans with huge leads across the board, assume the race is going to be close and the Democrats have a good chance at winning. If your primaries are over, then find your Republican candidates, attend a fund raising event, volunteer to help them knock on doors or make phone calls, and get on the list for a yard sign. If your primary hasn't happened yet then make sure you vote so the best candidate wins and people will have someone they can feel they can support. Voter turn out is going to determine who controls the House. Laughing at the polls and acting is Republicans don't need to do anything is the wrong approach and it will cost us seats. Midterm elections only get about 40% voter turn out. Meaning the people most upset are the people most determine to get to the polls and vote. That is hands down the Democrats right now. Republicans need to show up in force and vote, not take it easy because "we are winning". That winning ends if the Democrats take the House. View Quote It is imperative that you vote Republican and get your friends and family out to do the same this November. |

Does not surprise me. Brainwashing really does work. We will all get a stone cold reminder of this soon.

complete bullshit
The GOP will hold the senate and probably build on the lead. The dems are defending 23 seats. IN, TN, MO and a couple others look very good for GOP. The generic ballot is about 3-5 point advantage for dems (if you drop out the 2 crazy polls showing dems up by 15). The trend has been that dems are losing favor. The generic ballot is traditionally only a seat per point. So 5 point advantage means a 5 seat swing. The dems need 23. No even close. Dems might take the house, but not because of what the generic ballot says. Remember Hillary by 20%? |
|
Quoted: Yep. The left is super-motivated. Here in MN we had a record high voter turnout in the Primaries this week. The turn out was 2:1 in favor of Democrats. It is imperative that you vote Republican and get your friends and family out to do the same this November. View Quote |

Remember about 6 months ago when the generic blue ballot was so far ahead, then a couple months later, it was even again? I am concerned, but not because of the news reports. I am concerned because of the massacre at the state level in Virginia last year.

LOL....these dumb fucks in the alt-left MSM learned nothing. How did it work in '16 when they exclaimed fake polls telling everyone 'this in the bag'...'Hillary has a 98% chance of winning!!!'
So what happened was the Dem base is lazy to begin with, so many stayed home cause it was 'in the bag' according their MSM. Meanwhile the other side sees they need to get off their ass.....and guess how that worked out? You'd think they would learn fake polling only hurts them. |

ive said it since 2016, we are going to loose a good many seats. It is just the nature of the beast. However, like any other years, not a damn thing will get through congress and the blame game will still continue
What needs to happen is all fresh faces and not carrier scum like we have had the last 200 years. until then nothing will change - honestly, I haven't been able to tell a difference between the two parties for as long as i can remember. |

Here is my opinion. After Scott Walker won in Wisconsin and started on his agenda the left started a meltdown. They occupied the capital building for over 30 days. They shouted shame shame shame at anyone connected to the GOP. They started a bullshit John Doe investigation against Scott Walker and republican donors (sound familar???) Many dems fled the state so no votes could be called. Scott Walker won the recall and the republicans defended against other recalls. Scott Walker then expanded the republican majority against all of the polling data. The left's meltdown continued until their backs were broken. Their antics pissed so many people off in the middle that they stopped voting democrat and started voting republican. Wisconsin went red for Trump. The democrats have been runnning their anti-Scott Walker Wisconsin playbook against Trump and took it national. It is going to backfire on them nationally just like it did in Wisconsin. View Quote |
