Clive Owens-I'll sleep when I'm dead.

Great flick but I don't understand the ending.

Since it came up in another thread...

My review:

Do you like good acting, direction and writing? Are you a fan of historically accurate WWII period pieces? Do you think gay jokes and blackface are reasons to boycott a movie? Do you think Nude Nuns with Big Guns was in bad taste and no one could make a movie in worse taste?

Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions, you probably (actually, really) don't want to watch it.

On the other hand, if you ever said to yourself "Self, I really wish they'd do more movies in the vein of Top Secret, where a coked out German who sucks at directing but knows he sucks at directing...directs it. Maybe with a fat chick who is actually kinda funny as the main character, who decides to fight Nazis because all of her online Jewish dating matches keep disappearing, and by the end of the 3rd chapter you know how many rolling pins fit in her cootch that'd be great. And hey, if they can top it off with Hitler playing Risk and being a little bitch about the rules then I'd so be into that. Oh and Michael Pare, I need another movie with Michael Pare in it in my life, especially if Ron Howard's creepy little brother is his henchman. Oh and meat, enough meat hanging on hooks that even Godzilla would say,'Woah that might be too much meat.' Oh and there are vampires? I am so fuckin' in!" Then yes, this is your movie.

It's bad, on purpose, and absolutely fucking hilarious. It drags in places and even I said "Seriously dude...what the fuck?" out loud a couple of times, but all in all it's a damn good, self-aware of what it is, B-movie.

To put it another way, a black millennial African Studies major at Berkeley probably would have less issues with "Blazing Saddles" than most normal people would with "Blubberella." I, however, am not normal and thought it was good badfun.

Steven Seagal in Sniper: Special Ops

So low budget they can't even afford an original name.

Trailer looks decent. Felt like Get Carter and I think it said it was the same director.

Interesting.

Odd story, but the cinematography wasn't bad.  Just strange.

Range 15 is now on Prime.  We watched it on Saturday and my wife all, "WTF is wrong with you?  It's not THAT funny."  Weirdo.

Yeah, it is. Their listings are f’ed up.
There’s separate entries for the pay version and Prime version.

It was the same thing with Range 15. The regular version was on Prime, while the 5.1 version was not.

So--and I'm talking to my fellow Zombie Movie Fans out there--

...anybody remember when these trailers came out for Worst Case Scenario?

Well...the movie never got made because the funding fell through.

What DID get made however--by the same guy--is this one...and it looks like it uses most of the creature effects from (what was going to be) Worst Case Scenario...and it's on Amazon Prime.

I just search by category and then narrow by available on prime.

There are a couple ways to narrow it down but it’s a lot faster to browse their selection rather than search for what you want and hope it’s prime because it isn’t just like Netflix.

Really good documentary about “war of 1812”, narrated by Joey Zaza from Godfather 3...

I cannot fathom how they only left the last ten minutes of the film to talk about Andrew Jackson and the battle of New Orleans...

They meanwhile go into great detail about the Indians getting shafted by white folks as is usual in all PBS fashion..

I need to be rich so I can make a real series on America’s history... like these guys.

God I feel like I'm awash with so many movies now days I don't get to watch half of what I want.  Between TV Shows, movies, kids, wife, hunting seasons, shooting, tinkering and traveling for work it's very rare that I get to finish a movie out.  Hell I've got a lot of movies I've started and never finished.
It took me three times to sit down and finish Super Troopers 2, not because it wasn't good I just kept getting distracted.
