I like the new characters and will be watching to see where this season goes. Morgan was supposed to die back before the start of the war, during the time Carl lost his eye. So i'm fine with him being the crossover character. That MRAP tho.

Just watched it.
On the one hand it was somewhat entertaining and at least something new. On the other hand, it was unbelievable that people that had managed to survive for this long were falling for newbie shit. I mean, come on. Nobody with their experience is going to let themselves get in those kind of situations. |

Morgan was probably chosen for the crossover because he was a fan favorite (people kept saying to bring him back for years until he finally showed up) & because his character had no place left to go in the current series. |

It would have been a decent episode if it were the first or second season, but we’ve already had 8 seasons of TWD and are in season 4 of FTWD, for a total of 12 seasons in this universe. They need to do better than the same old “make a stupid decision, get ambushed, give up your guns, surrender, somehow escape” routine.
Likewise the old ninja sneak attack where the characters get knocked out by an unknown assailant needs to end as well. |
