No mention at all of security enhancements at schools, the most obvious response if you actually want to protect children.

Quoted: I was reading DU the other day and that's exactly what the socialist scum are planning. They know they can't do on anything on a federal level so are pushing for gun control on a state by state basis And the pussified RINO Republicans are caving to media pressure View Quote A lot of people around here know about the NFA '34. What they don't know about are the various state laws that were as bad or worse than the NFA '34 that were passed, state by state, when the federal government wouldn't or couldn't broach gun control (it had been tried). What is old is new again. |

I wonder how serious they are?
How about this we'll pass your laws, but if there is a mass shooting after you pass them, you must kill yourself. Find out if they really believe in their laws or if they are just running their sucks and have zero conviction. |

Unlikely to pass? And for the record I have always despised Rick Scott. Between the mass migration of Puerto Ricans, the infestation of expat NYers and the clamoring for felons to get their voting rights back, you will be CA soon. Enjoy your no CCW, AWB, Smog tests, high state taxes and stupendously expensive environmental policies. The blue wave of doom will soon wash over both coasts of the USA. |

It also addresses select fire weapons. I wonder how this will impact NFA transfers in Florida if it passes.

Florida has a solid Republican House, Senate and Governor.
Nothing of substance will be passed. Every year we get some jackass proposing something or another but it never goes anywhere. Florida is a very gun friendly state. The only thing we really don't have is open carry because the fucking tourist industry owns the politicians of both parties and they think they will lose a couple of tourists if we scare them with open carry. |

... when I see a group of gun control protesters, mainly men, I would imagine it's a good likelihood that many are prohibited possessors

By getting angry at gun laws, everyone is diverting blame from all the students who didn’t treat their fellow student with love and friendship, and telling gun owners and 2A supporters that they don’t love kids. What the school shooters did was wrong. But if you are at the point of having no friends 365 days a year, every year, and being ostracized by every one, isn’t that a school full of emotional and verbal bullies? |
