1) whats a ar r65 (01 or 51) never heard of it .
2) if you want the 50 so bad get it, but take the mags too, all of them.. just my oppinion. |

it is a colt model. r6551 or r6501...i have seen adds for them on this board. I cant confirm the model number and serial number till i get ahold of the seller directly. but my understand is that it is a preban lower w/ post ban upper. I just sold my boat so i will have the money to get it now, then sell it and get to tromix upper, and have enough to cover the mags. I deffinetly will get the mags though. at $10 each they will be worth it, as long as they are in good condition.

When did peaple start charging extra for accessories?
When I sell a gun the mags come with it. When I buy a gun I expect the same. |

i hear you when the gun goes so do some mags. offer him $950 for the whole deal. so what if the lower is a preban. you can get ar's right (post-ban) for $6-750 brand new. that gives you an extra $200+ for accessories. DON'T FORGET THE RRA ar15.com ar for $660 and considering that the gun is not in original configuration, why pay market value for a gun that is not? look at the gun then start laying out $100 bills. count out $800 then say that is all it is worth in the non-original condition. if he balks then sweeten the pot, but do not pay retail for a gun that is not. ONE MORE THING with the amount of people from kali. dumping their EBR'S . you might look around and maybe luck out on an original (complete) ar for the same price |

i have a SP-1, i was just looking at making a few bucks real quick off this...anyways i will atleast look at the mags.

i am not so quick to jump to that conclusion. I bought a bunch of mags from the sellers buddy. i got 7 colts in 95+ condition in a colt box. these i have been told are probably worth $200. plus a colt rare magazine worth somewhere around 40-45 bucks....i paid about $200 for 19 mags (11 30's and 8 20's) and i had several surprises in the bunch. all are in excellent condition, and all are preban. I walked away with somewhere around $400 in mags for $200. I want to see these with my eyes before i say "kiss my *ss. If you turn your nose up at a $10 mag from someone, you might miss a good deal. Always look at the mags is what i say, the seller might not realize what he has. but i dont think i am going to do the rifle. think i am just going to call tromix a call in a few days and be happy with that. love2shoot |
