 Divided island: How Haiti and the DR became two worlds LOL Video makes it seem that it's nothing but a bunch of white guilt tripping. That Haiti is the complete failure it is today because of racism by the white man. Makes no mention of how Haiti after gaining independence from France instituted slavery amongst its own people. They blame the white man/western world for the failure of everything around the world. Honestly I wouldn't mind take some heat for some bad events now and then if they would at least acknowledge all of the great this we do for the world, you know, plans, trains, cars, space travel, internet, cell phones, computers, landing on the moon, microwaves, medicine, etc...

Been there 6 times, got caught in the middle of a coup while at the airport leaving, guy walked in and fired half a magazine out of a G3 into the ceiling to get everyones attention. Had to stay another week til they took the APC's off the middle ofvthe runway. Haiti hits you right in the face when you exit the aircraft...hot, humid and OMG the smell...its not jetfuel...next time I came bullet holes still in the ceiling.
Might be dedicating the entire country to Satan a while back that sealed its fate. Voodoo us everywhere. |

It's an action that is driven due to the race rather than other aspects of the situation. EDIT- At one point the video quotes a book from 1915 that asks the question 'after 100 years, what progress has the black man made?' We could ask that same question today. Is that racist? What action do I take in asking that question that makes me racist? |
