My understanding is that it's basically a jazzed-up Sloppy Joe. Take ground beef and tomatoes, then add taco spices, and corn. Put on bun with lettuce and sour cream. Never had one, but it sounds tasty.

Place down the road from where I grew up had one on the menu since the 70's

Pulled pork no sauce, 3 raw onion rings, 3 dill slices, hot sauce, and BBQ sauce on a bun. Pretty dam good.
