Ok guys. The kids baseball team has a logo version of yosemite sam and it needs to some panache (is that the correct word? is it even a word?) added to it. The teams colors are royal blue and yellow and they use some navy blue for accent colors. I was thinking the bats in the logo should be brownish and contain some wood grain like and the rest of the logo needs some jazzing up with the team colors. Or, feel free to submit whatever you think would look best.
Contest ends tomorrow at 8:00 pm. I select the winner and they get to choose whether they want 2 pmags or a $24 membership. Must have at least 1 serious response to win (i.e. if there are 47 lootie pics, etc.....no winner will be declar UPDATE: it was brought to my attention that a vector format would probably be the preferred format for the drawing so that we can have patches and stickers made. Additionally, because the small print allows me to change minor things about the contest...........feel free to come up with your own version of a "maverick"s, which is the name of the team. Its a new team and the kids are all 9-10 years old. The idea was to come up with something the kids would like, centered around a cowboy esque maverick theme. Yet another reason why this place is worth the $24 it costs - SScot not only made several different options of the logo for me, he then made requested changes to the logo and knocked it out of the park. I messaged him on the side and told him I wanted to give him 2 pmags or renew his membership for his time spent......and he asked that any donation be made to TeamRanstad instead!!!! The knowledge base and generosity of this site never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks again SScot! At least I don't have to look at that boring ass logo anymore. P.S - I sent a note to RetMac in the TeamRanstad link you provided and requested a link to make a monetary donation (I was unable to find one in that link). The donation will be made the second I get that info. I'm off to read through the link again to see if I missed it.
