Unfortunately this isn't the first church to get shot up. Look into the shooter in Colorado that attacked a church only to have armed congregants shoot back. Couple years back. They were prepared and had a plan. It sort of inspired a lot of churches to set up security assets. No way, in the current anti-Christian society, am I going to attend a church service unarmed. This new idea of theirs would put me out side to slow them down I guess. Some of the other big guys near the doors inside. I just thought to myself this like something a paranoid GD member would worry about. I guess I will be showing up early "greeting" people from now on. |

Don't know if its been posted but local news is wall to wall.
Updates I've seen from local news: Church was dismissing, subject in mask from neighboring county shot the first lady walking to her car, killing her. Subject entered the church and started shooting, he was confronted by a member who he pistol whipped. That member was a CCW who went and retrieved his weapon from his car and re-entered the church and upon seeing the members weapon the subject then shot himself in the head but is still alive. |

Church Ushers sit in the front foyer of our church armed to the teeth. There are several other usually unlocked entrances however that are not covered as far as I know. Big church.

If my church didn’t allow CCW, then they’d be acting in a way I don’t believe is biblically sound, and I’d find a different church. Full stop.
As has been said millions of time before — gun-free zones and gun laws only bind the hands of the law-abiding, and the law-abiding are NOT the problem. |
