Sadly, a lot of times church shootings are domestic disputes. Somebody doesn't handle a separation well and knows where to find everyone he blames together and unarmed.

This is a mass casualty situation. All of the wounded have been transported to area hospitals. The majority are older adults.

Crazy. I always carry in church and know of many others that do as well. Since 9/11 we've had some off duty officers that attend services usually always hang out in the lobby and keep tabs on the parking lot and stuff out of the ordinary. Our church is great about everyone knowing others are carrying and just being observant. It would surprise me if there weren't people carrying at this church as well.

Sounds like gunman starting shooting from outside, moving in. Possibly ran out of ammo. Was grabbed, maybe pistol whipped someone, before he got his ass kicked.

With all of the madness against "white supremacy" and everything that is good and righteous in the world, anyone attending a traditional Christian church service could be a target for attack.

Not trying to be snide, but with all the hype on the rapture from yesterday I have my money on a nutcase who figured if the rapture wouldn't come to him he'd bring it to the church.

Unfortunately this isn't the first church to get shot up. Look into the shooter in Colorado that attacked a church only to have armed congregants shoot back. Couple years back. They were prepared and had a plan. It sort of inspired a lot of churches to set up security assets.

No way, in the current anti-Christian society, am I going to attend a church service unarmed.
