Even with a loss of ratings, I don't see the league really losing that much. Football is ingrained in people. To the point that their life's revolve around it.

Throw in fantasy football and betting? It's going to be a while before the NFL is replaced by a reality TV show or some one season drama on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.

I'm also about 30 years out from getting my season tickets for the Packers. I've been on the list since I was 12.

We used to have 2 famous RBs..from the Vikings??? Come in to Gander all the time. They usually bought cheap guns, and shit ammo. I remember their CC getting denied at least once each time. Both were mouth breathers. One guy I worked with loved the NFL..and would go nuts over them.

It appears they have come to a crossroads, they either play football, get paid and shut their idiot holes or remain sjw's and jeopardize their million $ life-styles.

I like the game of American Football, but don't care at all about the NFL and even my interest in the NCAA has waned. So long as I have my second hand copy of Madden 17 for my PS4, I have all the football I need.

While the press is carrying water for these four(4) guys it does not bode well that they don't have the player's association behind this or any other players signing on. This will go to meetings and eventually die off for lack of interest. They may get some team action but I doubt the NFL itself will launch.

Public sympathy is pretty weighted down with disaster relief in Houston, Florida, and now Puerto Rico, not to mention Mexico City.

But no, they won't commit to an electoral process that has worked for centuries. No, instead the founder of this movement for the perpetually concussed refused to even register. The nearly herculean effort of voting was obviously a step too far for that college graduate. Instead, he wears silly socks and wonders why he can't find employment as his girlfriend ridicules potential employers.

But, we shouldn't place all this weight on the backs of cognitively contused. No, sports announcers deserve a fair share of contempt as well. PTI's Michael Wilbon came out in favor of a year of activism. Wilbon could run for office. He meets all the requirements. He could quit sitting on his ass in a tv studio and go out and develop a campaign that would change both his fortunes and his fellow countrymens.

This might require effort beyond the feel good circle jerk that they engage in. So, I have little expectation that it will happen. But in the mean time- Fuck them.
