I am going into work to cover a girl having some medical issue for 5 hours, than I'm going to watch some preseason NHL hockey since there won't be a season now.

Took the day off to get satellite installed. Found a baby snapping turtle in the yard. Headed to the range once the installer leaves. It's gonna be a good Tuesday.

Working. My company is doing a massive stream restoration project. In the office now, but I'll be in the NC sun in an hour or so. Tonight, grilling steaks and finishing American Vandel on Netflix. (I recommend it)

Hmmm... I was going to hop on my Triumph Tiger next Monday and head to the Black Hills for a three-day solo ride, leaving my wife and dags at home. I'd better leave her the good firepower to deal with whatever hell gets unleased on Saturday. I can just outrun it on the bike.

learning .net core mvc with react

I LOVE angularjs and I consider myself a master at .net web forms, asmx, svc, and webapi but this new stuff is just annoying....extremely annoying. The end can't come soon enough, honestly I don't know why i'm doing this to myself the whole "code first" stuff is just a paradigm shift on how I view the code.....why do developers these days HATE the database layer so much?

Returning some dummy 45-70 to school. A talented student jammed a Marlin and bent the ejector. I had to disassemble the involved Marlin to extract the dummies. Ejector was straightened in a vise.
