B.U.R.R.I.T.O F.A.R.T 0911 is one of the most exclusive special weapons I have eve come accross. My wife has the meanest one I have ever smelled.

Hey, let's ask GarryOwen (Shawn)! I'm sure he'd be more than happy to give you an opinion.

What I've seen of them is crap, but Shawn very reluctantly has admitted that Toad's recent stuff is a bit better.

Too bad Todd Bailey (head honcho of Special Weapons)has shown himself here to be a complete jerk, even to people who have bought his gear. That was enough to ensure that I wouldn't be one of them, though I found the SW45 to be intriguing.

I was at a gunshow last weekend, looking at a HK94, and some know-it-all youngin' came over with his buddy, chuckled and said "you can get a Special Weapon for a lot less!", after I stopped laughing at him, I said, "yeah, if I want a POS jamming gun made by the biggest a-hole in the gun world!"

He looked pretty hurt, and said "mine works fine for me," so I told him my MP5 works fine for me, and he shut up.

The kid was barely 21 at most, my guess is he was underage, so I guess the SW5 is an improvement from his Tec-9, no wonder he likes it so much.

Hell, I'll take a Tec-9 over a SW anyday! Just what the guy needs a $1500 gun that "needs" breaking in to run right, what a load of $hit, for that kinda money it'd better run perfectly outta the box.

I wrote a mail to this GC site:
"I don't hope (like all other gun-control sites I contacted) to receive a personal response, but anyway I read carefully statistics you put about correlation of guns-crime rate. You have only to explain one simple thing: How come that UK Govt.(the worst place after Japan for a firearms enthusiasts), that in Europe has the most restrictive laws about gun control, is thinking to give firearms to their "bobbies"? Maybe Gun control is NOT bringing firearms away from criminals and not from law-abiding citizien (as easily predictable)??? Tell me the difference between Remington 100 and Springfield M14... since the moment that they have the SAME MECHANICS! I think that your position is extreme and it will not implement more security."

Do you think that they will ever answer me?

I tried to wrtte also to the following:

-HCI: no mail
-CPHV: answer with a "anti gun manifesto". No answer to my questions
-Amnesty International: no answer
-IANSA: no answer
-Killguns.org: no answer
-PETA: no answer
-VillageNews: no answer

If their goal is to show that they're not for freedom (included the freedom of opinion based on dialogue) they succeeded in an astonishing manner...

What is the deal with the SW5 anyway? There was a review of the gun in last month's Guns and Weapons for Law Enforcement and even they mentioned it jammed during testing.

A friend and I had two of the SW5's and they were total junk. We never could get them to run right and one of them jammed on every round. Not to mention the guy who runs the company is a complete dillhole.

You definately need to talk to people like Steyr AUG and HKocher 'bout this before you do anything.Then think about it twice,three times, then just forget about it.

If you get one maybe you'll get one that works,but if you don't, good luck on any factory support.

Best thing I can say about them is: if you want to become an amature gunsmith on the fly, this is the gun for you!

You'll learn how to clear jams faster than a crack dealer on a driveby with a chromed Lorcin .25.

Todd, if you are reading this, feel free to use that last quote in your next advertising campaign.

I heard the SW5s had major problems, but I got a SW3 that has never given me any problems whatsoever. It's a very accurate rifle and one of these days I'm going to conduct an AR15 vs. SW3 accuracy test and post the results here. I think it would be a very close contest.
