He was like if someone was trying to kill me I wouldn't get a gun and go shooting!!

then he corrected himself by saying well I might get a gun but not go out in the woods, wtf is wrong with going out in the sticks to shoot? dumb a hole trying to give gun owners a bad name.

O'Reilly isn't a big 2nd supporter either. He tolerates some guns, and openly opposes assault rifles. He gets old quick anyway. He only stops the spin on the issues he wants to stop. Sometimes he's entertaining though. I like the way his moral compass is pointing most of the time.

When O'Reilly started out, I liked him.  Now, although I agree with some of what he says, I think he's playing to the audience.  His ego is out of control, and his solution to most problems is more rules and laws.  Basically, he's become a Nazi, playing on audience emotion and the shallowest of analysis, considering only facts that support his position.  His grasp of 2nd Amendment issues casts doubt on his depth of knowledge on other issues.  He has absolutely no regard for the Constitution. I still watch occasionally, but have to fight the urge to throw something at the TV.

Hannity and Colmes is much better a much better show, IMHO.
