He got alot of ass in the whitehouse...alot of young ass, might I add, and we had money to spare. His economy was so much better than Bush's, and there were not nearly as many layoffs in the Clinton era. I don't think Bush can even hope for re-election.

Ron Jeremy for president! Gene Simmons or Paul Stanley could be VP. They all have gotten a lot of ass, and have provided lots of income to video and music stores.

Lets see...cut manpower in US Armed Forces by half maybe...so what's that? 2 million guys? Cleared out all those government posts for FOB/ Leftists/ Socialists/ Liberals ( Travel Office, FBI, DOJ, ect, ect, ect...). Gave China MFNS, so there went lotsa jobs. So he gave it a shot. Good thing The Repubs took over in 94 to apply some fiscal discipline (don't know what happened to that concept now-a-days)because congress sets expenditures (Bill had nothing to do with the surplus other than getting a Republican Congress elected and benefited from it much as much as being POTUS during the Dot.com era). Got the Mega-Corporation/ Super State that Bush 41 started going good. We found out Clinton was a Serial rapist, consumate liar, and would sell out the US for his own personal gain (political donations) to a foreign country (China in case you are confused). FOund out he thought the White House was a Hotel and would rent rooms by the night for the right donations. Would bomb a foreign country to deflect attention away from his own foilables. Yeah, the good ole days... what did he do that was good again? Welcome to AR15 DUer.

Some did, some didn't. President Reagan cut taxes and attempted to cut federal spending. The result? The longest economic boom of the 20th Century! President George H. W. Bush broke his pledge of 'no new taxes' and gave us the recession of 1990-92 that resulted in his defeat by Clinton! Clinton gave us an even greater tax increase in 1993. The result? A Republican Congressional landslide in 1994! And that GOP-led Congress gave the economy a respite from any further tax increases or any large increases in federal spending. President George W. Bush has given us a tax cut the full extent of which has yet to be felt. While it is true that the American Economy is too great for any US President to control, he can give the people and the markets a reason to hope, or a cause for dispair, based upon his administration's agenda! The longest economic expansion in US history was fueled by many things. I personally don't think that Reagan's tax cut was very important in that expansion. Especially considering that Clinton raised them and the expansion kept going strong. While CLinton's tax increases may have won congress for the Repubs, it didn't seem to have an impact on the economic expansion. The myth that Reagan created the expansion is a nice thought that Repubs like to believe, but IMHO, it is a myth. I personally believe that the expansion was fueled by a massive rise in Total Factor of Productiviy (TFP), or that part of the GDP that is not either labor or capital. In essence, it was the critical mass of education, technological infrastructure and the wide spread adoption of such that fueled the expansion. Massive expenditures on Y2K helped to fuel this as well. I believe that the creation of the 'bubble' helped to perpetuate this phenomenon well past its natural demise. Anyway, books could be written on it and economists have lots of opinions. But the real problem is that politics always gets in the way of evaluating such things. The partisan nonsense that gets thrown around is detrimental to figuring out the economics of it.

Why don't you read my inital post and respond to the opinion therein rather than spout off in such an ignorant? Besides, if calling BushII 'shrub' is going set you guys off that bad, maybe you should deal with your insecurities. You are right, Clinton had some large ass in the White House. Clinton's economics worked out OK. That's because his wife's aborted attempt at health care fell apart, and Clinton adopted Republican policies like the capital gaines tax cut, welfare reform, and NAFTA out of political expediency (except for NAFTA, which he seemed to really support). Too bad he messed up in forign policy and attacked the rights of Americans.

You sure about that? Do you remember 1993-94? The economy was not so good then, one reason that the Republicans won the Congress in 1994. The unemployment rate in 1993 was about 7 percent, and in 1994 it was about 6.1 percent, same as now. The recovery from recession during Clinton was painfully long, perhaps 3 years. Clinton also changed the way the unemployment rate was calculated so it would appear lower than it actually was. GunLvr

No one's bailing. If you can't actually read above the third grade level - it is not my fault. Here is my post in bold so you can perhaps use phonics to figure it out. Some of you people seem to be almost retarded.

Politicians do this for a living - hard to blame a pig that likes mud. But having people like those on this site support the crap is what really galls me. Most people are smarter than that, they are just so enamored of shrub they can't see that Clinton, Shrub and all the rest are just the same kind creature dressed up in different costumes. Is Bush a better man than Clinton - undoubtedly. But that doesn't make him any better for freedom.

No it wasn't a threat ,you better grow some thicker skin around here pal. If someone has the balls to say those things in a public bar or somewhere that I heard it I would risk the fine for the bitch smacking I would hand out. With the freedom to be disrespectful Of the President of the United States also comes with the responsibility of the posible consequences of your words. Am I wrong for punching somebodies lights out for a crack against the President? Legally I would say yes I'm in the wrong. Morally I would say I am in the right and willing to take my consequences. I can't legally whip your ass if you say my wife has a fine ass and you want to bang her, but you're still taking a trip to the emergency room ,right? Legal & Moral are not always the same and I'll go with moral 99.9 percent of the time.

CassidyGT, as is so often the case, you are totally FULL OF IT! Just re-read your own posts and see if they make any sense to you! 'Cause they surely don't to me! The factual errors are so great in your posts on this subject that it would be far easier to simply point out the facts in your posts that are CORRECT! And I will surely let you know when I find any CORRECT facts in your posts. So far, I haven't discovered anything! [:D] Eric The(EvenThe'Thes'And'Ands'AreErroneous!)Hun[>]:)]
