ot the DFW crew,

am having a vehicle crisis, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good shop in the north dallas area.  car is a '90 toyota camry, and i'm located at keller springs/tollway.  i'd like to stay close to avoid excessive tow charges.  thanks in advance,

A good shop for what (engine/transmission/ect), or just an all around good mechanic?

Not that I can help you a lot since I'm a little farther north that what you need, but it might help the other guys offer a suggestion.

thanks for the quick reply.  looking for a good and reasonably priced shop for a motor problem i developed last night:  serious oil leak and associated noise.  happened just as i was pulling into my complex.  

motor runs, no coolant in the remaining oil, and no warning lights, but i've lost about 1/2 quart since last night, and the motor isn't developing power too well.  i'm hoping that it is just a gasket, but am pessimistic.  

i just miss my old VW type 3, which i could work on myself.  ahhh, the march of progress.
