My wife was looking at me funny and I asked her what was up. She said "You do know that you have green eyes?" I said yeah whatever. So we start a bit of a wager. I lost and have to do laundry for the next week. Anyway I always though my eyes as brown but when I look at them in the mirror they are the color of a light green olive! My wife says it is what is called hazel. My dad has the same color but even lighter. I have brown hair too. My brother has really brown eyes along with my sister. Weird?

My brother is the same way. Everyone in my family has brown eyes, his change from brown to hazel depending on the season. Weird.

Sounds like you have hazel eyes. In the heat of summer in SoCA, my eyes go green. In winter they go brown, if it's cold enough. Looks like the picture above; the "border" between green and brown must be shifting back and forth depending on conditions.

Could be something stressful or traumatic.
Have you heard reports from psychiatrists concerning eye color changes in persons afflicted with MPD? Whenever a personality switched, the eye color changed.
How do I know this is really Valkyrie? [:D]

I too have hazel eyes, But mine change every day. I wake up with green eyes and the longer I am awake the browner they get.

Hey is browner really a word? My spell check thinks it is.

People with brown eyes are full of shit. People with other colors are just a quart low.

That is exactly the way my eyes are right now. They change with the season. More brown in winter, more green in summer.

Mine are brown around the pupil, green in the middle and a thin ring of blue at the outer edge. Sure makes it a pain in the ass to remember what eye color I should put down for DMV stuff or 4473s.

Mine do the same. There's always some green and some brown, but the amount changes.

Italian and Dutch parents...made a mixed up baby.

Wow! I thought that I was the only one that had that happen. My grandpa had his eyes changes so that is what I am expecting. Mine have gone from nearly black to a light green and I don't think they will stop until a light blue. They change a bit on the seasons so far but I just figured that was all in my head.

Mine seem to change from green to blue depending on what color shirt I'm wearing.

I consider them predominately green (which is what I put on my DL) but my wife insists they are blue.
