I like the idea of meritocracy, but we've all know people like the girl in this story. People like this grow up to be Martha Stewart or Hillary Clinton. Anyway, this chick sued her school for $2.7 million in damages because she wasn't named valedictorian. This story was posted earlier, here's the follow-up. Sounds like these people worked the system real well. The school district had to pay for tutors so she wouldn't have to sit in class all day like everyone else; then they sue the school district. Real nice; I wish them great mis-fortune.
