Sometimes ROBAR sells off the stocks (H-S Precision, I think) from the 700VS rifles they customize, at about 1/3 the price of a new one.

Also check the equipment exchange. Guys will sell the takeoff stocks at times. Hell, I have a boatload of standard remmy stocks. I like the HS for drop in. McMillian is probably the best, but is also the priciest.
